What a busy day. Work, school and a birthday party. Huck has 2 really good friends at school, they are kind of like the 3 amigos. For a while when I would drop Huck off he would chest bump one of the little boys. Seriously so funny. Well he did not want me to forget about the party and reminded me all the way home and all the way to the party that he did not want to be late. I think he had a really great time and I hope that he remembers these guys for a while.

I think that I need to not be so lazy and get the other camera out so my pictures are not grainy. This picture is taken with my cell phone with kids that did not want to stand still.

I almost let this day get away without a picture. Eliza had dance class tonight for the first time in a couple of weeks, it is good to be back on a schedule of school and normal activities.

Happy Birthday to Uncle Jake. Jake is a great brother and uncle. I am proud to call him my brother. He is loving, kind and hard working. He is tackling a rather large project these days and puts in many hours of hard work. I know he is on the look out for both his sisters and little brother. Jake I hope you had a really great day and that you have many many more to come. I could not see a better picture for this day.

Chicken noodle soup for dinner with a show afterwards who could ask for more? The kids had school today but Ira and I did not have work. We spent the day running a bunch of misc errands. The kids enjoyed a small class size today as I think most parents opted out of school I think that Huck had 6 kids in is class and Eliza had 7. Tomorrow I think more friends will show up as more moms and dads have to return to work. Hope that you enjoyed your winter break no matter how long or short it was.

Ira’s Wrapping Skills

Here is the wrapping for presents from me to the rest of the family. The bow, ribbon, and QR coded name tag (just to keep the kids guessing) are all made by me. I am pretty happy with the way they turned out. It is hard to see in this picture but the dots on the ribbon are not the color of the wrapping paper, but a very pale purple. Merry Christmas all!

This is my one true resolution. I will take at least one picture of the kids a day and post it. Now I cannot guaratee that I will post them everyday that is my hope but I figure if I get the picture taken I can blog a couple at a time.
Maybe this will help me put a few sentences down about the day as well.
Today we learned that are ward will be splitting again next week. Here is to keeping you on your toes.

Friendship Bracelets

Eliza and I made these friendship bracelets using a kit that I gave her for Christmas. You pick your wheel that has a design in the middle and then you pick your colors. It was so easy to do and addictive as well. I mad the Green with orange flowers and she made the spiral one. I see many more of these bracelets in our near future. I may also make a necklace for her.

The Fall Owl

This beautiful owl came home from school. Eliza made him with Ms. Maria. He hangs on the pantry door and I am getting a bit sad because it is about time he come down. He has been a very pleasant addition to our house.

The Food Coloring and Oil Flowers

Eliza made these flowers in School with Ms. Maria. They are made with food coloring and oil according to Eliza. I have enjoyed the artwork that she had done at school this year.

The Snow Family

So Eliza made this picture as a gift to the family. She was so excited for one of us to open it on Christmas. I need to find a frame and hang it up. I love love love it. Thanks to Ms. Maria for the great crafts that you do with the kids.
